Lucy brings over 25 years of interior design experience, having contributed to some of the world’s most prestigious projects. Her career began in the luxury property market at Candy & Candy, where she gained invaluable insight into creating world-class interiors.
As founder of Cocovara Interiors, she has led large-scale, award-winning projects, including the Triptych Bankside development in London, encompassing over 200 residential units alongside commercial and lifestyle spaces. Her portfolio spans some of the world’s finest residences and her breadth of experience directly informs her work at House of Vara. She also founded Cocovara Lighting, producing bespoke lighting featured in publications such as Homes & Gardens and Architectural Digest.

CRIS LOPEZ
Director & Co-founder

After a successful 20-year career in banking, Cris chose to follow her lifelong passion for design. She trained at the renowned Inchbald School of Design, where she refined her creative vision and technical expertise.

Through her travels, she developed a particular interest in furniture design. Guided by an exceptional eye for beauty, she draws inspiration from around the world to create the House of Vara furniture collection and spaces shaped by emotion, craftsmanship, and the belief that design should be felt as much as it is seen.
